Technical analysis.
The details behind it.
SkinTix combines CS2 skin price charts, technical indicators, drawing tools, saved analyses and price alerts in a browser workspace. This guide explains what the data means and what the current beta can do.
Start analysing ↗SkinTix is a browser-based technical analysis platform for Counter-Strike 2 skins. It is for traders, collectors and players who want to research price behaviour, trading activity and their own chart setups. The public website is skintix.pro and the application is skintix.app.
What you can do
Explore available price history and recorded sales volume. Add RSI (Wilder periods 7, 14 or 21), MACD, Bollinger Bands or Stoch RSI. Draw price levels, trend lines, rays, channels and Fibonacci; use the ruler to measure a change in price and time. Add notes, save your analysis automatically and export JSON.
The catalogue lets you search CS2 items and filter categories, weapons, rarity, wear and editions such as StatTrak or Souvenir. Select the exact variant before comparing its history. The catalogue includes more items than the available price coverage.
Trends scans price changes, trading activity and RSI signals across selected periods and categories. Its full lists lead to the item's chart. The website's five-item insight list selects large absolute price changes among weapons, knives and gloves with minimum recorded sales and at least 70% observed-pair coverage. It shows research leads rather than recommendations.
Prices, history and limitations
Price charts use CSFloat daily average sale prices in USD. Sales volume is the recorded number of sales. An average sale price is different from the lowest marketplace listing. Sticker premiums, unusual float values, individual high-value sales and low sales counts can affect the average.
Today's UTC average can be incomplete and is marked provisional. Trends and alerts use completed UTC daily averages. Missing days remain visible; price values are not invented to fill gaps. Indicators need sufficient observations and restart after calendar gaps. Chart intervals use the last available daily average within each period.
The current source does not provide genuine OHLC (open, high, low and close) data, so SkinTix does not offer genuine candlestick charts from this feed. Stoch RSI measures RSI within its recent range; it is different from a price stochastic indicator.
Skinport listing quotes and Steam wallet listing prices are shown separately from CSFloat averages. Steam wallet values and marketplace prices should not be treated as interchangeable cash values. Follow marketplace links to check the exact variant, availability and fees. SkinTix does not execute trades.
Accounts, saved work and alerts
Charts can be explored without an account. Guest work and favourites are saved on the current device. An account allows chart analyses to be stored and restored after signing in. Favourites remain local.
Alerts can use a fixed price or a saved chart line, with above, below, upward-crossing or downward-crossing conditions. Account alerts support background checks as new stored daily data arrives. Email notifications require a verified notification address. Guest alerts are checked while the application is open. Alerts do not provide tick-by-tick or intraday trade monitoring. Moving a chart drawing does not modify the line snapshot already saved in an alert.
SkinTix is in beta. Data availability depends on its sources. Email/password sign-in does not yet offer password recovery or verification of the sign-in email address; verification for alert notification emails is separate.
